Creative Archives Director, Fashion Historian & Curator-Buyer
Marta Meyerhans
meet THE FOUNDER
Marta Meyerhans is the Creative Archives Director and visionary behind Muse Archives. A fashion historian and respected curator–buyer in the American luxury landscape, Marta approaches garments not as seasonal objects, but as cultural vessels of memory, identity, and craftsmanship.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Marta lived in Switzerland, New York, and London before settling in Miami. She holds a BA in Art History, an MA in Fashion and Luxury from Istituto Marangoni, and an MBA from London Business School. She has served as professor of arts and fashion history at Istituto Marangoni, grounding her work in both academic rigor and modern relevance. She is an independent fashion curator, having worked on exhibitions on Italian women designers, Martin Margiela, and 1920s fashion, among others.
Through exhibitions, lectures, masterclasses, and institutional collaborations, she reveals how fashion reflects the values, artistry, and social narratives of its time.
Her sourcing spans private collectors, ateliers, estates, auction houses, and academic archives, granting access to rare material unavailable through traditional buying channels. Each piece is selected for its craftsmanship, provenance, narrative strength, and future relevance.
Marta shifts the conversation from consumption to curation, and from ownership to meaning.
