Our week kicks off by visiting one of the largest private fashion collections in the world, right in the heart of Wynwood! We will explore the vaults of the collection where many iconic fashion pieces are restored and brought back to life. This is a unique opportunity to examine up close iconic designs from the best designers the world!

We end our fashion survey by looking at your future in fashion. As a future fashion professional, what are the most pressing issues you will encounter as you enter the industry? Custom Sneakers Workshop: Customize your favorite sneakers with the guidance of an incredibly talented graphic artist. One workshop you will not want to miss!
Fashion Styling Workshop: Our guest stylist will teach you the fundamentals of fashion styling and what it means to develop your signature style.
Designer Spotlight: We will take a close look at the legacy of BALENCIAGA
Moodboard Workshop: Take advantage of the art at the Rubell Museum as a source of inspiration. Take the fist step in creating your own collection by learning how designers find and communicate inspiration for their designs.
Trend Forecasting Workshop: Learn how to spot the up and coming trends about to emerge in the fashion scene. Put yourself in the shoes of a fashion buyer and select your own 6-piece collection for the upcoming season.
Finding your Brand Voice: Our guest speaker is a seasoned VOGUE journalist who will teach you insider tips on how to find your own voice and stand out in the fashion world.
Designer Spotlight: Christian DIOR. Get to know the history of one of the most admired luxury houses in the world! From the launch of the “New Look” in 1947, learn the fashion codes of the house that came to define feminine luxury.
Designer spotlight: Coco CHANEL. Learn about the revolutionary fashion of the famous designer and the iconic pieces that represent her style.
Drawing for Fashion Workshop: Learn the fundamentals of drawing the human figure for fashion and practice drawing your own ideas for garments.

Muse Archives was founded by Marta Meyerhans, fashion curator and collector, and experienced professor of fashion and art. Marta has taught a wide range of courses including fashion history, trend forecasting, art history, and contemporary fashion. She holds an MBA from the London Business School and a Master's Degree in Fashion Brand Management from Istituto Marangoni. She advises private fashion collectors on acquisitions and curates independent fashion exhibitions
In addition, during our workshops students will get the opportunity to learn from guest speakers and instructors from different fields of the fashion industry.

This course is offered to high school students who love fashion and want to get a better understanding of the fashion system. Students who are curious about a potential career in fashion will learn the fundamentals of building a fashion collection, new brand creation, the different roles in the fashion industry and the skills required across different fields.
Each session will bring a mix of lectures, collection ad catwalk review, case studies, guest speakers and practical workshops. Our last session will include a visit to Miami's largest fashion collection, where students will have the unique opportunity to view iconic historical garments up close.
Sessions will take place in the museum library, a beautiful workplace inside the Rubell's amazing collection of contemporary art. It is important that students start building their visual vocabulary in order to be strong visual communicators. Students will have free access to the collection throughout the course, and we plan to incorporate gallery visits as an integral part of our course.
